Looks like its been extended to 16/2/2010.


"Unlimited Weekend Plan connection charge special offer

No connection offer improved and extended until 16th February 2010. Available to eligible new customers who agree to take the Unlimited Weekend Plan (£11.54 monthly line rental) for 18 months, and make at least 10 chargeable or inclusive calls per month. Otherwise, you'll need to pay compensation charges of £6.80 for every month that that you don't make these calls. Monthly prices quoted are with payment by Direct Debit and paper-free billing. Standard connection charge £124.99. Conditions apply."

Looks like offer has changed. You now need to take BT broadband to get the free installation.

Where does it say that? If you're saying that was an alleged requirement someone was told about when they phoned, that's either poor training or, more likely, an attempt to bump up commission.

BT make up the rules as they go along anyway so nothing surprises me

He makes no mention of BT Broadband he could have been signing up to that as well.

Is this not the offer they have extended by 16 days.If so they need to update the notice

You are right I had missed the small print at the bottom of this page. With such a short extension sounds like it maybe coming to an end finally and that it will only be offered with broadband, which would fit as BT are now allowed to offer discounted bundles.

Are calls to 18185 counted towards the " make at least 10 chargeable or inclusive calls per month. " condition ?
