The service may be more expensive than supermarkets but there are two things to bear in mind:

    1. The items are being delivered to you with that price
    2. You are supporting small local businesses instead of lining the pockets of the big boys. We should all support local business where possible.

They don't deliver to where I currently live but do deliver to where I'm moving to (GL8 8) and I'll be more than happy to have them deliver my milk, eggs and other essentials. The less money goes to Mr T and the like the better as far as I'm concerned!

Yes I thought it was a good service. My goods were all there when I opened the door that morning.

Also, it may be dearer than supermarkets, but you are also getting the 1st £5 worth of groceries for FREE! You are trying out the service, that is why they give you the £5. There isn't an obligation to order every week.

  • so far i'm not very impressed.. my order is almost a week late and my account is saying it has been delivered already.
just spent 10 minutes on the phone trying to get through to customer services and they're going to look into it for me, so hopefully i will get my delivery at some point! :|

  • I signed up to this 2 weeks ago and only have one gripe. The fruit and veg boxes were the main reason for using the service and both weeks they have been unavailable!! However I will continue to use the service as it is very handy.
  • Thank you very much OP! To be honest the prices don't look high to me, butter 99p is what I usually pay in Tesco, and the goat milk is about same price if not cheaper.
