No problems with Credit Report, yet I can't open an account!

I bank with the Halifax and have had an account for 3ish years. It's not appearing on my credit report.
Phoned Halifax, and they are going to look into it.0 -
Try Barclays.
They have a different way of approving student accounts (including graduate ones). They are approved by the manager of the bank.0 -

The account wouldnt because 1) it was opened before you were 18 and 2) while your under 18 you cant take out credit so cant appear on your credit file. I take its just a basic account?For everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -
did you apply online. take all info (proof of uni course and voter list registration plus any additional address proof) to a branch and they may be able to help you...0
