O2 Simplicity Sim help
I have been on O2 PAYG for about 15 months and contacted O2 a few days ago to ask about the possibility of obtaining a Simplicity Sim deal. I went into an O2 store about 7 months ago and was declined.
I'd read that you could ask the provider to reconsider their decision if you are declined, and perhaps pay some sort of deposit up front. My credit is absolutely awful so I thought this would be a good thing to do.
The guy I spoke to at O2 sales said that they didn't reconsider a decision from the credit scoring companies such as Equifax or accept a deposit upfront. The only thing I could do would be to ask a family member to take out a contract on my behalf and after the 1st month, change the bank details. I can't say that anyone in my family would be willing to do that for me.
What is the point in creating a sim only deal (with a 1 month contract) when they're going to decline people with bad credit.
I've looked at companies that say they can get you a contract phone with bad credit, but to be honest, all the sites look unprofessional and don't make me want to trust them with my details.
Any ideas anyone?
