I desperately want a copy of a children's book called "Emma Borrows a Cup of Sugar"

Options
I have tried everywhere to get a copy of this book from my childhood. It is by Nicholas Fisk. Its about a girl who goes to her neighbour's houses to try & borrow a cup of sugar. Its hardback about A4 size. It's out of print and I cannot track down a single copy.

If anyone can help I will be so grateful.

It is listed on Amazon but there are no copies available.

You can pre-order on this link and then you will be sent the book automatically as soon as one is listed (within your price limit.)

You can also put the book on your wish list at www.greenmetropolis.com

A lot of his books are listed on Abebooks. You can register a search on there and they will email if it is available. You can also do that with amazon.

OMG I remember reading the Starstormers books when I was a kids. I loved them. Going to order one now to go with my secret seven books :D

    You could try Foyles http://www.foyles.co.uk/foyles/index.asp?TAG=&CID=
the book isn't listed on their database on their web site, but if you phoned them/popped in they might be able to help. I've managed to get quite a few "out of print" books through them.....

or http://www.inprint.co.uk/booksearch/index.html imprint will do a free book search to see if they can find it for you.....

Thanks for suggestions. I had already tried them all except I have not actually phoned Foyles. I will do that, thanks purplepurple (and all others for ideas).

If anyone can help further it would be very much appreciated. I have just been tol on another board that it is listed on Amazon Japan but bit stuck as I cannot read Japanese. If anyone can do that please reply or pm me!
