wedding party bags for kids

I think that there is a misunderstanding here as to what exactly the 'goodie bags' are for.
I can only say from my own point of view here but during the ceremony I expect children to sit quietly and behave, during the meal I expect them to sit nicely and behave but after the meal while the adults are still seated, chatting and waiting for speeches I think that a bit of colouring in their own seat gives them a break from what is usually a very long and often pretty boring day.
I don't see that it's a reflection on their behaviour because we didn't have those kinds of things when we were little.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -

i agree
we wouldnt have had a separate room for the children as we wanted them there and part of everything on our day
but then again i guess there is place for that idea,if theres a lot of children etc as then that may be noisy etc with them all running about ?!
a friend of mine had a lot of children invited to her wedding ,many were babies ,so an area where travel cots were set up,a place for breastfeeding / nappy changing etc was needed and provided and was much appreciated )0 -
