If it makes you feel any better, my stash is just as bad.
Well, I was thinking, at least I'll make others feel better:o.
They would know that there is someone worse than themselves. So, sorry if you are the same as me.:(
My cosmetic stash is just as bad, but I am not going to photograph all of that. I really think the men in white coats may have to come and cart me away.0 -
wow sales addict, you have a pretty big stash there. Maybe a bit too much to use on your own. Have you thought about ebating some, making gift hampers, giving some to charity shop, selling it on a blog? (sending it to me
)
well done for posting it all though xx*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
Didn't buy anything yesterday however I've recently been using Elemis Absolute Eye Serum and Bobbi Brown Eye Balm and one of them has made a remarkable difference to my eyes. I've noticed that I'm not using concealer under them any more. I'm nearly out of both of them. I've offered up a swap for the Bobbi Brown one on makeupalley.com and if this doesn't work have seen the Elemis one being sold really cheaply on ebay. Hopefully the makeupalley one will come through so I don't have to spend. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Please don't be ashamed, you are so brave and I am proud that you had the guts to post your pictures.
Onwards and upwards!
Me too :T Well done salesaddict.
Yes, thats quite bad. I wish Id taken pics at the start as most of the bulk of ours has really gone down apart from the "eternity to use stuff" like lipbalms and hair styling ( no more of either needed in 2010)
It is a phenomenal amount of stuff you have there. You dont have to answer but have you totalled up what you paid for it
Love to all this grey and drizzly morning- I can feel the need for a real slathering of face cream today, looks nippy out there! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Hiya, at last my stash has begun to get a little smaller. Gave my mum 4 Liz Earle moisturisers, well she did say she liked them !!! used up a Elemis tri-enzyme serum and face wash. I did throw a Decleor tonifying lotion in the bin. It nearly took my skin off. Am all red and blotchy this am:(
There was a Liz Earle tsv yesterday and (drum roll please) I didnt look or buy ANY A couple of months ago I would have stay'd up till midnight to order a few but since joining this thead I'm reforming.:j0 -
Morning all,
Well done to those posting photos! You are really brave. Mother's Day is coming up for perhaps some bits can make for really nice pressies? Like others my stash is everywhere in the house and keep turning up in unexpected places. Used up:
Avon Perceive perfume - I like this. It's EDP so lasts well. May buy in the future when I fancy a change but it encourages an Avon habit...
Lo'Oreal shampooo - horrible so I cleaned make up brushes/sponges with it and cleaned the bath. So I was down to dregs in Neutrogena. So I went shopping.....To Sainsburys and got:
- own brand anti dandruff shampoo to soothe my irritated scalp. So far so good. I liked the Asda one but the buggars have altered packaging/formulations.
A Sainsbury's designer brand blonde shampoo & conditioner. I only have 1 conditioner so ok. Now 2 and a bit shampoos but won't be & a bit for long. Ok so far.
Champneys mint shower gel This was rated in the Beauty Bible. It is really uplifting so worth it I say, pricey for a shower gel. About £6. I have only 1 shower gel in stash, that's the Nivea Happy Time one. Right still ok then.
Champneys detox bath essence stuff. I love spa scents. Not used yet. I have no other bath products apart from bath dead seat salts. So still ok!
A Sainsburys Naturals Hand cream. Mmm. I have 2 I am using up so this is a premature purchase. not used it yet (good girl!!) so will use the others before this.
So only 1 naughty purchase which will be balanced out when I finish the Dove hand cream, which is rubbish. The thought of having to report to you lot is keeping me on the straight and narrow. Because before I would have curled my arm around a display and emptied its contents into a basket! :rotfl:Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Thanks to everyone for the welcome
.
I can't decide the best way to go about using up my products. I usually only like one bottle of each type of product open at a time, but I'm thinking that with the MB bath gels I might be in the mood for a different scent each day; the only problem with that is that it will take 5 times as long to get rid of a bottle. Also, I always use my least favourite products (ie the cheaper ones usually) first, saving the 'best' til last, but I'm worried that I'll end up dying before I get to use the ones I can't wait to use. However, if I use my favourites first, then I'll be sad when I can't get any more because I'm stuck with the others. I've had a lot more in the past but I'm good at giving away products to my family on a regular basis (eg I used to get sucked in to using Boots vouchers to get cheap products, however I just got products because they were cheap, even though I didn't really want them - all given away now, and lesson learnt, I now don't use the vouchers because even £1 here and there is £1 gone on a product I don't really want which I'm stuck with).
I am just as bad with perfumes (I have over 20 expensive ones  ) and make-up, in fact I'm worse with make-up (eg I have 60-70 MAC eyeshadows); I posted photos on another site a couple of years ago which I still have somewhere, but I can't be bothered to take new ones. Again, it's all 'premium' brands and worth a shocking amount. However I came to my senses with that a couple of years ago and I don't buy it as often now (avoiding make-up forums has helped). However, make-up takes a long time to get through and apart from a load which I gave away, I haven't managed to use up much at all.
I want to point out though that I have never been in debt (apart from my mortgage), so although I have spent a lot, I have always lived within my means.
salesaddict - wow, that is some stash. I'm obviously not quite in the right frame of mind yet as I find myself looking through the pictures thinking about what I'd like to try0 -

I'm like you and prefer just to use one bottle at a time. However, some of the ladies on here had the good idea of using the boring stuff you aren't so keen on during the week and then treating yourself with your favourites at the weekend as a reward. Seems sensible to me.
That's a really good idea - thanks.0
