The monster-in-law has been to stay and obviously didn't bring toiletries with her.

In out bathroom cabenet is an almost empty body wash/ bubble bath and a brand new one (ready for using as old one litterally has enough for 1 bath in)............. so guess which she used????!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
To be honest though, I'd probably do the same as her. If I saw that someone had only a tiny bit left of something, I'd use the new bottle because they may have been looking forward to using their last bit on themselves. :)

I have taken No7 products back to boots before that I've reacted to (and other boots products) and I've exchanged them fine, but with no receipt I would think it'll have to be an exchange so I'd check the price when you go in, get bits to that amount in a basket and then go to the No7 counter and exchange.

I've had reactions to several No7 products before, including eye shadow several years ago.
I doubt anyone here would do this, but what stops people picking something up off the shelf and asking to exchange that for their basket of goodies?
Wow you have a lot of tissues and Nivea Energy spray. Do you like that one?
I bought 2 when they were on BOGOF and it's such a strange smell, I just use it before I go to work, but the can never seems to get any emptier.

I've got a H&S conditioner that has one more (if that) use left, then bin time. I have a Herbal Essences one spare which I don't think much of, but that's half empty already (been using it at OH's) so I think I'll buy another H&S one for a pound tomorrow to keep by. Conditioner is certainly a must-have, and I hate being forced to go shopping. :D
Also nearly at the bottom of a shower gel I bought for a holiday last August. Will be glad to see the back of that one. Wasn't bad, just neverending. (Asda's orange and mango I think it was). Got a Palmolive one next, cherryblossom, smells like sweeties. :D

Finally read everyones posts up till now, although everyone seems to chatter away on Sundays and I'm never on to read it. :rotfl:

I can't wait to have extra room around the place after all this has gone. Hoping to have only 1 or 2 of each type of item around at a time. :) Also can't wait for this December's offer of the week at Boots; gonna go crazy! I probably won't have much in stock then, so it'll be ok - would see me through 2011! Plus all the S&G sets will be around again; am I the only one looking forward to Christmas? :rotfl:

I've noticed people are mentioning using moisturiser with SPF. Is this essential? And even in winter? I'm very fair and burn easily in summer, but usually wear sunscreen then, so is the moisturiser one needed too?

One review I have: NYC clear nailvarnish. Wiba? Nononono. I wanted a cheap clear varnish when Claire's seemed to stop selling the one I bought, and found the NYC one for £1-2. When I used it, it cracked straightaway all over my nails. Looked so weird - binned it. Wished I'd put that money towards a decent one. :(

Always nice to be here, ladies. :D
  • Thank you so much Completely Lost - I really appreciate it  .

Some nice stuff you have there beatyaddict! Bet you can't wait to use it!
Went to boots today and came out empty handed. Would you believe that they don't sell dove stick deodorant? I'll have to replace mine when I go to a supermarket next. Actually, I shall use some of my bodysprays. Lets hope they keep the wiffs at bay!

Welcome beautyaddict and well done for posting your stash. I'm sure you'll enjoy pampering yourself with it.

I went to Waitrose today and had a sniff of the cinnamon cakes bath creme which a couple of other ladies have previously mentioned. It's totally gorgeous - it looks and smells exactly the same as the Philosophy Cinnamon Buns but is a fraction of the price. I resisted :A but when I need some more bath foam in about 15 years I will definitely buy it.

I still have two bottles (oh yes, ladies - of course I couldn't just buy one!! :silenced:) of the Philosophy stuff which I bought reduced several years ago when Boots were closing their Pure Beauty stores. Does anyone remember the Pure Beauty shops? They were dangerous.... _pale_
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

I really didn't know whether to post these images. Not even sure if these links will work and in a way I hope they don't.
I am so ashamed of myself. I don't know when I turned into this person.
The worst of it is, I can't even say hand on heart that I won't buy anymore.
I think I need to get myself some therapy, and no, don't worry, this time I don't mean retail therapy

Yes I remember that, I got some lovely organic pharmacy stuff, caudalie, nuxe and other premium brands that I can't remember now all bought when they were selling it off at reduced prices.
Babafette I have posted my photos. I am feeling the shame. :o:(
