I'm also learning that a flannel and hot water cleans my skin really well, which is gonna save me even more money... YAY!!QUOTE]

LOL. I (re)learnt this too recently!:doh:Now at the start of cleansing I rinse my face in warm water and wipe off with warm damp cotton pads. It removes a lot of make-up, without even using cleanser, after I've done that I cleanse with the almond oil to remove the rest. Saves on cleanser defo!!

I used up a mini bottle of shampoo today and finished a large bottle of Dove Conditioner, so two more bottle for the bin. WIBA? Yes because I love Dove Shampoo and Conditioner.

    QUOTE]

I love this too, use the pink bottle, it makes my hair particularly soft and silky.....even the boss of my salon commented last time I was there, which was nice :T. Have just had 2 tubes of conditioner that come with home-hair colourants donated to my stash, which is fine because I always find them really effective too.

Despite saying last week I'd almost finished my P&P, I STILL haven't started the new pots yet!! Why do they take so long to finish when you get to the dregs of the pot??

I do need to buy a body butter really, am fed up muddling along with these ineffective cheapo lotions and the cheapo cream-that's-not-much-more-than-a-lotion-in-a-pot. The Bodyshop ones are best in the mid price range are they? The trouble is I dislike vanilla, nut, cocoa, foodie, sweet fruity and musky type perfumes , which is what they all seem to be.
    Any suggestions?

I have simialr scent dislikes to you. except I quite like nut. I hate to smell like sweet food...cakes or candy.

    Dove Pro age.

In my one man sampling endeavour it has beaten everything hands down fr prolongued moisturisation. Its nuetral ish scented...not my favourite scent my any means, but the smell fades quickly, but be far the best result (including out ranking things that cost a Lot more, like 8 times more.. (I get a few high end and very luxury things to compare with but don't have to pay for them...oh and nor are they stolen!!!)...)

Lir thanks for the recommendation, sopunds what I'm looking for. Will give that a try.
****Scoots off to try and find a special offer on it!****

    Afternoon.

My Body Shop order arrived just now (3x Hemp hand creams). I'm determined not to even try it before I've used up the hand cream I bought the other day. Though the other one I bought was only a small tube and feels half empty already so that shouldn't take too long.

I've been on the hunt for the Dove intensive hair treatment that someone mentioned a few days ago but can't find it anywhere?! I'm in dire need of shampoo & conditioner, as all I have left are the dregs of another shampoo bottle and a small S&G Hair supply (which I am saving, for some unknown reason).

Oh, and it's funny how all our tastes vary so much. I love anything that smells chocolateley... I'm not so fond on fruity or floral things, unless they are strawberry or creamy smelling, if that makes sense. The body lotion I'm using at the moment is almond and lavendar and although it doesn't smell too bad, it's not something I would usually choose for myself. The almond makes it bearable.

To be contrary, I would actually say start the hemp hand cream and just keep it by the bedside. It's quite an intensive hand protector and not necessarily something you'd apply everytime, maybe morning and evening and just use normal handcream in between, unless your hands are subject to harsh conditions throughout the day! Very effective product, recommended to me a few weeks ago by someone on a 'sore hands' thread on this board. :Tto them and sorry can't remember who.
