Utterly sick of Virgin..

Ok a brief outline of our fun and games over the last almost 4 weeks.
Got back from holiday to find our broadband not working so called virgin up. Were told to reset the box, turn it off, unplug etc each time a new very long call and each time it never worked.
This went on EVERY day up until this morning when it finally got fixed..even that wasn't simple but i'm so glad it is back on.
Reading through my long list of names and times as I made a note knowing it may turn into a nightmare i have a record of 28 people i have spoke to, 2 of them said they would ring me back and never did..I rung the complaints dept a week or so into being fobbed off and still today i have no reply from anyone..I blatently spoke to a man who suddenly appeared to forget his name when asked gave me a womans name, i am 99% sure he knew he had done nothing to help and wanted to go home so looked round for some other poor sucker to get into trouble..of course i may get into trouble over accusing someone but have asked it to be looked into as someone was taking the total mickey out of me.
I wrote to them almost 2 weeks ago now and guess what..nothing.
I am so unhappy that we have had to fork out for..nothing and 2 the lack of customer service and dire help we have recieved.
So what now? ring complaints again and get told i'll get called back..tbh i have spent the most stupid amount of time on the phone to them that is the last thing i want to do..write..again will it do any good?
We are going to cancel with them as soon as we have decided who to go with but would like some contact with someone who realises the amount of money and time we have spent trying to sort this out.
Help please! Thanks for any replies x

Poor you Gabyjane - I'm sick of them now too and will be interested in any replies you get to your thread. I rang last night, didn't get the woman's name (won't say lady) who had me holding on while she checked this and came back to go away again and check that and then tried to blame my wireless router for the intermittent problems we've had all weekend even though their broadband status was red on their website and they had a ticket on for problems in my area on Saturday that was showing as resolved yesterday when it obviously wasn't. When I told her it was not my router and that the status was red on the internet we were suddenly disconnected!! Seeing as she'd checked my details, account number telephone number etc. if it was a genuine cut off why did she not ring me back? I'll see how it goes on tonight though I am thinking of changing. They don't advertise the broadband size that I have anymore and I had wondered if the intermittent service I've had was a ploy to get you to pay for a faster service?:j Addicted to money saving0
