Unlocking orange mobile to use with three, will it work?
Was going to move from three to orange with the £100 cashback deal but its gone off today so now looking at another alternative of staying with three and using a mobile that someone no longer wants but its locked to orange at the moment. Didnt want to bother getting it unlocked if its not going to work with three

Providing it is a 3G phone, yes you can. Don't do it with a 2G-only handset, as 3 will soon notice and cancel your contract (and demand full payment for the outstanding monies owed). The reason being every 2G call carried by 3 costs them money as they don't have their own 2G infrastructure - they borrow oranges.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Thankyou, I will have to ask and make sure it is a 3g phone then. Even if it is a 3g phone it wont affect the call quality or anything will it because it wasnt initially a three phone?Thanx
