    So... I have to neg him and take a retaliatoy neg on the chin.
    Suggestions for the wording of my scathing neg would be gratefully received.
    I thought perhaps something witty or with a double meaning might be better. Along the lines of, Not half bad! (ie: completely bad).

    Be careful with witty - people might misunderstand the true seriousness of the problem!

    I think 'Unreasonable, bizarre behaviour' gives a good idea.
