Cheap HPI Check for Cars

Some dealers will do an HPI for £99. Total ripoff.

If your serious about the car then do your own. Its worth spending £20 - £30.

If someone on here does a check, You buy it and it later turns out to be dodgy you have no comeback. You didnt HPI it.

Freehpi.co.uk has gone. It now belongs to hpi check. I don't think they liked it. Lol

You can get a car check at car check uk for £4.50 or five for a tenner. It includes stolen and insurance data and vin check which some cheap checks don't.

I think hpi check are on a mission. Just checked and another site called hpi check free has gone too.

Dont do the cheap checks they are a waste of money. If you need an HPI check do a proper one.

Just checked my own car as I had an accident a few years back and they paid me for it, and said they would not class it as a write off! and happily they were telling me the truth.
It says its £2.99 however when I paid through paypal they charged me only £2.49! RESULT!

Except its less than 100% reliable and offers zero protection.

Odd how their website says briiliantly simple from autoexpress yet the test failed to show a BMW had finance owed on it.

So i will stick to my previous thoughts. AVOID... cheap checks...
