    Evening all,

Pap - Don't look at it as your life stopped, look at it as you moved on to the place you needed to be for you.....after all it's only YOU that matters.

pap what is it that makes you depressed about seeing what they are up to? Is it that they are having fun and you feel left out of it? Is it because you miss it? or is it because it has bad memories? I personally think they would be very proud of you...these are supposed to be christian friends remember!

Pap, you weren't on FB for the last 8 years or so........have you missed anything? I'm sure that if you had, then you would have revisited earlier.

Looks like you have better friends here anyway:D

Thanks beanie, I love you all too, if only people in RL accepted me for who I am  Anyways stuff them, they prob don't care about me anywyas so why should I waste my evening thinking about them  Oh and I so want to run now :rotfl:

The reason for the facebook thing is to ask if the following is 'ok' to bring to the party. As I will be on CD I won't be drinking (well only water) but I would still like to bring something. So I have raided mums drink stash and found the following. Henrys gin, Canti rose and Echo falls red wine... Being mse I hope this will be 'ok', so I need not buy anything :D Let me know please :T

Someone will make that into a cocktail!:rotfl:

Right Bunnylady (when you read this).

Do you want me to sort-of-organise who is bringing what to your party? Don't want to step on your toes, but it seems to me you have enough to be dealing with and are probably too exhausted to cope with much more.

I have set up an online spreadsheet - all I need to know from you is what you want people to bring (and other people can suggest stuff, to which you can just say yes or no).

I will list each item on the spreadsheet, post a link to it on your party page, and people can message me to put their name down for one of the items.

    Would that help?

Things I've got on the list so far:

    Paper plates
    Dishes
    Plastic cups
    Knives
    Forks
    Spoons
    Paper Table Cloths
Sprinkly glitter stuff for the tables
    Balloons
    Banners
    Party Poppers
    Black bin bags
    Cake
    Blue Tac

Here is the spreadsheet (it's incredibly basic but doesn't need to be complicated, does it?) - but if you would rather organise it yourself, just say and I can delete it.

Pap, I'm guilty of only posting the good stuff on Facebook. It's because there are certain people I dont want reading the bad stuff. It doesnt mean the bad stuff doesnt happen though, far from it :o

Pap - The grass always looks greener - those with the jobs, the relationships, the education and the kids aren't always as happy as they appear....I think all of us like the look of someone elses life now and then.....

I envy all of you who run, for having the sheer determination and passion for it.....I envy the single, childless ones for how simple I think their lives must be (do you like my rose tinted glasses here?)

So yes, they probably are jealous - you've got no man issues, you've got no money pit of a house to deal with, you've got no kids to worry about and you've not spent years and years and years doing a degree that you never use.

    I envy you!

But I've learnt to balance the envy with the realism that is my life.
