I am just about to put mince and all the bits that go with it into the slow cooker. Can anyone advise if I can put potatoes in there as well, or do they still stay hard?

Really? I leave potatoes quite big because otherwise they go a bit too soft in my slow cooker, but I guess it depends how long you are going to cook it for, amount of liquid etc.

Edit - I burned water today though so possibly don't listen to me... :rotfl:

  • Afternoon all, back from town and didnt spend much. The only non budgetted thing I brought was a £2 gift box thing from body shop (as I want to try thier body butter) and Mum brought me some stuff in Lush, I have never had anything from lush before :j

Anyways I had a huge Drool.gif session today. My ipod touch's battery has slowly been getting really really bad, ie 1hours playback and its dead :o Of course 3 hours on a train and 1hour charge doesnt add up so I thought I would get it looked at. So I went to the Genius bar in Apple. Well of course I stopped and drooled over their macbooks (so out of my league) and then I got served by Tom (Apple care person) who is even more out of my league but a lot of mental drooling was going on :rotfl: Anyways they gave me a 'new' ipod, of course its reconditioned but thats ok, but the best bit its the best cared for ipod (5 months old) he has seen ever _innocence__by_Synfull.gif

Ohhh and I am having problems with that kitty momiji doll I ordered, she still hasnt come as teh company is having problems with Google checkout

Anyways that's as exciting as I get today :rotfl:

Spud, so glad you found your necklace :T

Well I have boiled the potaotes separately and now added them to the mince, so I am wondering if they are going to completely fall apart by the time we eat. I never really know how long to put things on for in the SC!

Snags, I swear I do look like that. Hair's a mess (covered by a hat) clothes don't match. Spud maybe I'm a long lost member of the spud family - cos that's what I look like.

Juat got back. Have had pills upped again, given diazepam to try and deal with some of the stress, a referral to their psychosis team and a very worried Pint.

    Afternoon all,.

Just popping in to say hello, before I get back to the wonderful world of reporting!

What dress did you get spud?

Sanggs, sorry to hear about you and Mr Sunday, but it sounds like you've done the right thing !
To the 'fringe' worriers, these things take time to settle down.

Elfen, don't put yourself down, you're a beautiful individual and good luck for this afternoon.

The best way to describe me is a pair of long legs with a head and some arms! I tried on a pair of trousers with a 34 inch inside leg and they were too short!!
