T mob end of contract - upgrade or port number?

HI guys, need you help on a wee matter...

I have t-mobile on on relax 35 tariff. I am due to either cancel or upgrade on 10th July, i need some help on a few points..

here are the facts:

I need to keep my current number - so either upgrade or port no
I need as MANY XNET MINUTESas possible and a few texts if possible e.g 50 text
I am seriously considering flext 35 as it seems best value at the mo
I do not want to spend more then £35 a month
I have been with T mob for 5 years and spennt a average of approx £70 a month this year

I want to negotiate a better deal with t mob on a upgrade or move on

so.....

1. If i was to upgrade what is a good phone with a high resale value that i could sell on eBay?

2. Are there better options the flext 35 e.g o2 (although cant find details of "new" tariffs anywhere!)

3. If i was to negotiate with t mobile for a upgrade and go to flext what hs other people been able to obtain in view of my high expenditure e.g. line discounts etc...

4. My contact end on 10th August but if there are better deals from o2 soon is it worth waiting and if so how long does porting take?

Many thanks for all your help.

Regards

    1. The sony Sony ericsson W810i is one of the best phone on the market at the moment supports upto a 4Gb memorycard 2 Mb camera and with the integrated Walkman

    2. the flext t tarriffs are fantastic with the monthly allowance which can be used either x net or for texts with a weekly text letting you know how much allowance is left.

    3. when i got my flext t there was an offer of 25% discount for life as long as you didn't downgrade the tarrif,

What is the best deal in terms of Xnet minuts for £35 apart from flext 35? or is that the best deal currently?
