Please don't feel bad, I ran it straight away and emailed my kids. You've done no harm and had everybody's best interests at heart especially after the emails lots of us had earlier xx

Gran, I do think you need to leave them to it to sort out for themselves. You will of course be there to support DD, but you cant force him to talk to you or DD's Dad. At the end of the day HE will be the one missing out, not the baby.:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0

Thanks everyone, hopefully there will be no more messages or i'll have to close the account.
Right i'm heading to bed before i fall asleep, i've got nothing done this week as the workmen have been here. Hopefully thats all that work done.:j:j I haven't caught up with the thread but i'll hopefully do that tomorrow. Hope everyone's well and big hugs if needed.
Flip i nearly forgot CSA got in touch, they have lost all the paperwork so there having to start again. The mother now has 3/4 weeks to get back to them with information, then she will be interviewed and if need be then hubby will be interviewed (we already told them that all we know is what CSA have told us). Then if it's still not sorted out it will be a DNA test which they will pay for. If the mother refuses to do the test then it's court. We've a long way to go yet but at least it's something.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Cosmomo, I think I may just tempt DS into leaving early by offering to go via the river, it means a longer walk and more distractions for my two, but they love it down there and we'll avoid all of the foot traffic! Now I just have to hope that this lad doesn't turn up on the doorstep. He was here at 7.50 this morning - we don't leave for school until 8.25!!!
Carlsberg - I've now realised that as soon as you become a mum it's your job to second guess every single action that you make with your children! I spend all of my time over-analysing every aspect of my parenting, feeling guilty and chastising myself for every tiny error of judgement. Meanwhile, the children are happy, healthy and completely unconcerned about my apparent lack of aptitude in a parental role. I get the impression that if you're questioning what you do, if it was right and if you could've/should've/would've done it better, then that's what makes you good at it. Just look at how much time we all spend here talking about our offspring. "Are they ok? Will they be ok in future? How can I keep them safe?" We all love them so much, I don't see that we can get it that wrong. If nothing else, we send them into the world capable of unconditional and irrevocable love. I say job well done.
Gosh, I hope that made sense.0
