    Evening All,

I am in real CBA mood at the moment, not really done an awful lot these last couple of days. Ex is back on the radar, I knew he would be because Tuesday is benefit day. Well he called the house yesterday but luckily I wasn't in and he didn't leave a message with DD1. Today he sent me a text with his new number (obviously got enough money to buy a new phone but no money to support DD2) and saying he wants to see DD2 soon. I have not replied and I don't think I will. At the moment I don't think I want him to see her as he was in a really dark place on Sunday and had been drinking. I don't want to see him either. He turns my stomach. What did I ever see in that man???!!!

Anyway, congratulations Ragz on the birth of baby Abigail!!!! Enjoy the baby stage, it is just soooo precious and it only lasts seconds.

Hugs to all that need it and Happy Birthday to everyone who is celebrating this week!

    Thanks for all the congratulations!
We came home from the hospital to find that DS2 has chicken pox... poor little thing, covered in spots even on his willy bless him - but luckily he's not too bothered by them yet.

I'm lucky enough to have a fab SIl and MIL so I also came home to a tidy house and piles of nice clean washing (thank God as my waters broke and soaked 3 pairs of trousers in an hour!!). Which means I am able to just do the bare minimum of housework and the place still looks nice. I know I shouldn't be worrying but I know if I let my routine slip the place will never recover (learnt that the hard way after the first 2 babies!) so I figure if I can at least wash up after every meal and put at least one wash load on a day then I'll be ok...

back to the lists in a week or two though!

I've really enjoyed this! Our bedroom always seems to end up as a dumping ground for everything on its way in or out of the house and it's lovely to have it clear. I've also rearranged the furniture a bit and made more space for me to do my keep fit DVD's!
BUT I haven't tackled the built in wardrobe/cupboard which I'm going to divide into 1.topshelves, 2.clothes and 3.all the rubbish on the floor and sort out over the next three master bedroom days. It helps to have a plan doesn't it!

    CONGRATULATIONS RAGZ!!

Bit of a funny day today; bit out of sorts - although AF is due, so its probably just me 'ormones.

    Level One
Clean out the fire place.. vacuum dust and fluff and soot.. if you burn wood your chimneys may need sweeping!
    Level Two
    Level Three
    Wipe grubby paintwork/

    Wednesday ~ Master bedroom
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

    Extras
    1. Empty and wash out all bins upstairs
    2. Clear out a cupboard.. any cupboard.. or a very full drawer I guess
    3. February meal planning and finances need doing/updating!!
So, I don't think I'm doing to badly...although I'm out all day tomorrow so probably won't have a chance to catch up.

I'm off - evening dailies have been done - so I'm going to sit on the sofa with my knitting. And possibly a glass of fizzy wine - we're celebrating OH getting his first 'proper' order. I say 'proper' because he's on a retainer from his old employer - this new order is one he's generated by himself :j Long may it continue.

    Have a good evening

    !

If you do arrange for him to see her, make it really structured, and don't leave him alone with her if he has a big drink problem. Hugs. I sympathise with this one.

    I'm on tenterhooks.

DD dumped her bloke night before last (hence the cryptic comment about an evening of two halves). He's not taken it well and she's gone over to see him to talk it through. She left about 1.5 hours ago. I need her to have the strength to stick by her guns, him to have the strength to understand it won't work. And me to have the strength to sit here patiently waiting for her to come home and to not fret....

~sigh~ my middle name is not patience.

Sorry for going totally off topic. I have made dinner though, and it's in the oven. Leeks wrapped in streaky bacon with a HM cheese thrown over it all...
