I cant concentrate at work, so am reading the thread
Ive had a chat with my sister and actually spoken to my mum and she seems fine albeit, very breathless. They think she developed DVT on the way out there and the blood clots have travelled to her lungs. They have said that she is very lucky to have fainted as this has been picked up - has she boarded the plane tomorrow, she more than likely wouldnt have come off again as her lungs wouldnt have coped. They are worried about her heart as she currently has very high blood pressure. They think it may just be that her heart has been working double-time to compensate for her lungs being poor but they want to double check before starting the treatment on her lungs.
My sister, bless her, is an emotional wreck. She is one of these overly-emotional people anyway - so this is just too much for her. After I calmed her down, I sent her off with a to-do list to keep her focussed for the next few days. She needs to sort out the insurance company and take the passports to the hospital. Accomodation will also need to be arranged, but the hospital can help with that. The hospital also provide a social worker to help complete all the relevant paperwork and things like that - so Im glad she has someone with her to keep her on the right track!
Am just waiting to hear more news! xallright! who kidnapped her and replaced her with a high flying one?!?! where's my real Jo!?!?
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Highflying??? I wouldnt go that far! Dont worry - 5 stars is completely unheard of for me!! Hence my colourful post!!Its so rare I like to draw as much attention to it as I can! Dont worry though - I still need plenty of kicking! Oh - and I dont iron.
Thanks everyone and sorry to have a totally unrelated flying post!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

In my HHB I....
* Tidied up from my breakfast
* Divided the bread dough between two tins and left it to rise
* Put the flours and salt etc away
* Emptied the airing cupboard and clothes horse and put all the clothes away
* Spun the o/night washing and hung it up
* Put loo cleaner down the loos to get it cracking
* Made home-made fat balls for the birds using the fat from yesterday's roast, and hung them up outside
* Looked at the heap of washing up in the sink, the state of the fridge, and the horrible mess on the counters, and sighed deeply....
* Made a cuppa and sat down to report back!
Next up is the kitchen: dishwasher needs emptying, washing up clearing into the dw once empty, scrap of pastry turned into something edible for tonight, Kenwood put away and then.... Pigpen's list.
Forgot to say thanks to Soappie, Toots and Piggers earlier: couldn't do it without you guys.
Back towards 11:00 to get going again; got a couple of e-mails to write meanwhile.
