I was going to ask on the special occasions thread (and I might well go and have a nosey sometime) BUT I think I will ask my flylady friends first...

My sister and BIL are celebrating their Silver Wedding in August. Any ideas for gifts?

Cushion covers have come out just fine - dripping on the line now - wish I'd washed them before now (the water was filthy).

After big discussions with gastro guy last night, decided to live with pain/manage with diet unless another serious flare up attacks and avoid the risky op if poss. Just gets me down a bit:( because already living with fair amount of pain from legs but I know I have sympathisers/empathisers here and I'm lots better off than lots of you so feel naughty for being glum :o.
(((hugs))) lemanie thats a brave decision but its one you can review again if it gets too painful - pain is very depressing so dont ever underestimate what you are going through angel.

Rosepink - if you're reading this - check facebook. Posted you the link to car tax online - no paperwork needed if you've the SORN number on the raod tax request.

OK - anyone for a HHC? Its nice and sunny so lets see what we can do....

Sorry I've not caught up completely.

I'm so frustrated. We need to tax the car and I can't find the documents we need. I've looked everywhere. I beginning to wonder if we even have the MOT cert as it was done by the previous owner. DH thinks we do but it must be invisible.

Anyway the good thing is that it's spurred me into starting on the paperwork. I've opened all the windows to get some fresh air in here as i'm still feeling rubbish, and if it's cold then I've got to get up and do things! I cleared th table and have put dividers on it with relevent things marked on them ie Barclays, Capital One etc and have been putting the correct items on top in piles. I've only done a wadge of the paperwork I've got to sort but at least I've got a system in place and can continue as and when i feel able.
I've also done masses of shredding and have filled a giant bin bag this week. Will have to start another one when the shredder cools down.

I'm feeling extremely tired and just phoned DH in tears because there's nothing to eat for lunch. He's coming home, i think I've got to the end of my tether. Still lots to do before the flat inspection, and we've been told we've got to move our outside freezer as we aren't allowed to keep in the hallway next to our front door. It's not forbidden in our tenancy agreement, but apparently some new people are going to buy a flat in th block and are refusing to go ahead until we move our freezer. I don't see why, it's not an eyesore but we will move it indoors to keep the peace.

Sorry for a long moany post just feeling tired and tearful. Will be ok though. See you later xx
