Faulty HD TV - what will happen?

Hi all,
I have a 42" HD ready TV. I got it in September 2007 from Agros and it came with a free 3 year extended warranty (luckily)
TV fine up until this week when the picture stated to wobble (ok when turned off and back on) but also the hdmi socket has stopped working for my PS3. I've read a few post about the hdmi board having problems on my make of tv and most cannot be fixed.
I payed £500 for it but wondered if they cannot fix it what would they normally offer? The same tv is no longer on sale and the extended warranty says that if it cannot be fixed then they will give vouchers up to the original value. Does this mean £499 or a percentage of this?
I just wanted to be prepared in case it cannot be fixed and they offer me something on the spot.
Any help would be appreciated.

Since prices have come down since then, I imagine they'll give you vouchers up to the value of an equivalent TV today. You won't get £499, as they'll take the view that you have had 2.5 years use of it.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
