Standard Life website

Is anyone else having problems accessing their accounts?

Keep getting the message that the site is down for essential maintenance but I need to check whether my transfer from Nationwide has gone through (completed all forms weeks ago and still my account balance says £0.00 - now I can't even log in!)

It also shows opening hours for the website - how can a website have opening hours?

Comments

  • Yes, same here. Haven't been able to access it since yesterday. They've done this twice in the past since I've had my ISA account with them last year.

It's just regular maintenance. The "opening hours" thing seems a bit strange but I wouldn't think too much of it. Just wait till Monday (as nothing you can do on a weekend).

I'm waiting for a transfer to go through to Standard Life at the moment and I would also like to subscribe for this year with them. When I log in the single and regular deposit links say "link disabled" when you hover over them! Is this just my account or is it like it for everyone?
  • when are they moving all the accounts over to Barclays?

Its all fixed up and working now. They don't enable the functions until the sixth day after they have sent the direct debit instruction to your bank.

Has anyone had problems trying to transfer over previous years' cash allowances? I wish to transfer over an HSBC ISA, and not make any contributions for this tax year. I filled out the forms online and got the papers through in the post, but there is no mention whatsoever of transfers. Is this normal?

Will give them a ring when they're open.
