    Happy Egg Company eggboxes used to have an allegry advice bit on the inside of the lid advising that the eggs contained...egg.

    I emailed them and enquired why this was, wondering if anyone with a known allergy to eggs would buy eggs, eat them and sue, and if any court would take it seriously.

    I never got a reply, but the advice is no longer present

  • this isn't typically a 'stupid food label', but I felt the need to share nonetheless...

    I had some Solero-style ice lollies from Aldi and I was quite horrified when I read the box and it said 'contains fish'.

    fish. FISH?????????? in my lovely ice lollies???!!!!!

    I can't remember the exact reason for it... it was something to do with one of the ingredients. maybe a colouring or preservative or something :huh:
