I totally agree that the new site is utter pants! :(

I can't use it with Internet Explorer as it just keeps crashing my computer. I have to use Firefox which I don't like as much.

It might just be me, but I'm also having little/no luck using discount codes found on here. They just say that they haven't been issued to me ... the old site didn't seem to detect this. This clamp down must be one of the reasons for the changes.

Thats interesting because I can't get the old site to work on firefox and have to use internet explorer. I normally use firefox so it will be an improvement for me if the new site will actually work with it.

I haven't got the new site yet but I am not looking forward to it with some of the problems people are having.

Another thing that is NOT an improvement is that if you order something that's on special offer and the offer ends before your delivery, the old site used to give you the choice of ordering anyway or deleting the item/s. The other day I got my order that I placed on Monday night and although 1 litre of Pepsi Max was half price on Monday it ended that day and so I was charged full price. OK, my fault for not checking but I was used to the old site which 'warned' me.

I could have returned them but I didnt realise until the driver had left so I didn't bother but I will check all specials very carefully in the future.

Like everyone else, I really dislike the new site, it really is a step backward and I can't imagine why Tesco thinks it's an improvement!!!

The delivery charges have shot up too!!

Just gone to order and my usual delivery slot (Monday evening) has gone up from £4 to £4.75!

To make it worse, the Tuesday evening delivery slot has gone from £3 to £4.75 - that's one hell of an increase. Wednesdays and Thursdays are now the cheapest option at £4 but if I remember rightly the weekend slots look 50p cheaper.

Might be off shopping tomorrow :(

  • I Hate the new website it is awfull to use and really confusing before i was perfect , why the hell did they ever change it? I phoned up tesco to make a complaint and the woman said a lot of people have been phoning and they are going to look into it:(

It's really put me off, thats why i'm never doing another order with tesco again, I now do asda and their website is a million times better.

I've just booked a shop for Tueday evening and it's still £3.50 up till 9pm and £3 after 9. The Monday evening slots are £4.50 up till 9pm and £4 after 9 and the weekend slots seem to be unchanged also.

Maybe it's where you live that determines what the delivery price is, though that seems very unfair. Looks like t4mof has seen the shape of things to come for us all

Think I'm going to try Asda as although there isn't a store near here they do deliver to this area
  • I've read somewhere that you can go back and add codes after you've checked out on the new site. I've searched the forum but can't find the post - I can't find how to do it on Tesco's site either. Does anyone know please? Thank you.
