Asda delivery shocker!

We have always used Tesco online - probably for about 2 years now. We haven't had any problems with shelf life being too short for a long time, but I did notice a difference depending on the day of the week that I had the delivery, and that's possibly why we settled on midweek deliveries (also cheaper then).
Last week my delivery came on Tuesday and included a chicken for the following Sunday - it was well within date, as was the rest of the meat and the bread. I've also never had a problem with refunds - they've always been quite generous!
Substitutes are usually something to have a laugh with the driver about, as we try to psychoanalyse how they managed to substitute the way that they did. Recently I bought a pack of 4 pork chops (we being a family of 4). They delivered a pack of 3 as a substitute - did they expect one of us to go hungry?! Should we just have said to one of the kids, "Sorry Tesco man didn't bring you one!" :rotfl:0 -
ROTFLMAO! I think I'll stick to shopping personally LOL. I cant get the thought of a cold naked delivery driver out of my head now he he.1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:

I've tried both Asda and Tesco and had so many problems I just don't bother anymore.
Never been happy with the fruit and veg they sent, always past their best However I've never had problems with Sainsbury's on the rare occasion I've used them.0 -
Just did my first Ocado online order, on the website it gives you a guaranteed minimum best before date for each item and then tells you what day everything has to be eaten by on the receipt. It should turn up in 30 minutes so don't know about the quality yet...0

My mum had the same problem a couple of weeks back. Ordered enough food for a week, since she'd be unable to get out for the week, and everything fresh Asda sent had to be eaten within 2 days.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
do ocado price match automatically or do you have to research it and ask for the price to be matched ??

i have always found this with asda produce in general. i have found their meat and veg barely lasts till the date before it starts looking/ smelling funny and the veg never lasts as long as veg from other supermarkets.. i dont shop at asda very often for this reason..0
