Have to agree with sue - need to know what cleansing routine you are using

My own routine is the OCM - works great. Then three or four times a week I ex-foliate and I then use Vit E oil at night as a moisturiser. All the other times my usual moisturiser does just fine

    Hi,

Just posted this in another thread for someone asking for anti-ageing moisturisers but I can't speak highly enough of Ponds. I too have very dry skin on my face and have been using Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser together with Ponds triple action moisturiser for mature skin (they also do a good Dry Skin Cream) and I've had nothing but success. My skin is now clear and dewy and no longer dry and flaky.

My make-up goes on well over it and it suits my usually sensitive skin and best of all it doesn't break the bank at approx. £4.00 a pot from Boots.

    Hope this helps.

    Bo.

spa find products are excellent for this, i suffered very dry skin til i swapped to their stuff.
  • Am interested in this post as am going to try clinique products too. I also have very dry skin. I have tried loads of creams but all dry out my skin and have been using Nivea cold creme for years!!! Have heard of the moisture surge cream but its not meant to be used every day. Is there a daily lotion/cream from clinique I could use for very dry skin?

    Thanks:D

Where did you read that it can't be used every day? I use it every day and no probs? Its lovely stuff.
  • When I went to Boots to enquire about it the lady at the Clinique counter said it wasnt ideal to be used every day and offered another cream instead but I have fogotten wat it is!! Its a thickish yellow coloured cream in a pot. Will have to pay her another visit. She also said that if it didnt agree with my skin they would refund so that cant be bad :D
