Hi all,
I don't have a landline (as we use mobiles most of the time) but want a broadband deal. Does anybody knows what is the best deal can I get. Earlier I had 3 mobile broadband but didn't find useful. So I am looking for a fast and cheap broadband.
Thanks for your help.

There are at five types of broadband I'm aware of ..
- ADSL which requires a BT landline (sometimes the line is resold)
- Cable which is only available in some areas
- 3G which is the slowest option with patchy coverage and low caps at any given price point
- Satellite which is very expensive
- Wireless delivered which is only available in very few areas
Frequently the only viable option is ADSL because that is the most widely available option at an affordable price0 -
Virgin Media are the only home broadband provider to offer broadband without needing a phone line at all. Though - keep in mind its cheaper if you do take a Virgin phone line even if you don't intend to use it.
If you're not in a Virgin Media area - then your only options seem to be to have a BT phone line installed (you can get this cheaper if you go via Plusnet - which is a good broadband option too) or go with mobile broadband.0 -
The only economic options are VM cable (if in a cable area), otherwise you are left with ADSL, which will require a BT line first. No free lunch, and no free laptop
