Also, as a seller, I can no longer offer a discount for multiple purchases & international buyers are no longer interested as the seller prices have been increased to include the "free P&P".

If you take the amount you have added to your price for domestic postage off the international postage your international prices overall shouldn't increase so I can't see why that would effect international sales

ebay won't go back on the Free P&P it will be rolled out more. A lot of greedy sellers only have themselves to blame.

My sales have actually increased since Free P&P also my profit margins so its been good for me

There's several different ways you can offer discounts.
  • I have, but an item for £4.49 looks more expensive than £2.99 in the first place. It's the lack of multiple sales that concerns me more. Like I said before it wouldn't be too bad if it was policed vigorously but the media categories in particular are a real mess. The idea of Ebay was to bring buyers & sellers together, all this is doing is driving a wedge between everyone & causing bad feeling with buyers feeling ripped off, threatened with NPBs etc. This thread is testament to that as are numerous threads on here & the official discussion forums. Capping P&P was by far the fairest way for everybody. You can still offer free P&P that way, if you want.

There was an article on Tamebay last week stating that Ebay are seriously considering going back on the free P&P to a capped limit again.

Hi Soolin I can't change the postage on mine so that I only pay the item price. should I report it to eBay to get them to sort it??

I think you can do it by paying straight through paypal as if you log onto your account and then click on 'pay all ebay purchases' it should just come up with how much it was originally, and then pay it this way as it will still link up with your ebay and be ticked as paid
