I can't see the attraction with big national companies. Try some quotes from local well-established companies. Ask neighbours / colleagues / friends and relatives for recommendations. The very best small companies don't advertise as they always have enough work by recommendation.

  • The Rehau system is very well regarded within the industry.

Windows are a bit like cars, certain dealers sell certain systems.

Ask what system they are offering for the money and then we can gauge what level it is in the market...good/better/best :-)

my brother in law works for a small local DG company and they really do good service. I have seen a number of places he has done and he is really good and a lot better than you hear the stories about the big DG companies.

I bet you don't have to look far to find someone who can beat their prices by a decent margin. And that someone won't be making a loss.

As for the company you mention, never again as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather brick my windows up than have them put in new ones.
