    It has to be the premium pack.

    Instore price is quoted at £279.99 - which is the same price as the premium pack RRP. There is nothing in the description other than contents of the premium pack (IE no extras, and they have the core pack on sale at £199)

    The photo is also 100% definately the premium pack.

    They would get seriously shafted if they tried to do us on core packs - big time.

    you can never be 100% sure with PC World though (perhaps I am too cynical when it come sto them). whats the price for a core + hd + wirelesss controller, that may come to that total..

    core = £199
    HD = £69 (I think, may be £59)
    Wireless controller = £30 ish

    Which is loads more. It 100% has to be the premium.

    i wrote an email to them, and so far got no reply back since friday night...

    also i called their crappy premium number and the guy said i can only tell you what the website says, then told me to go to the microsoft website and do a search for xbox to know the difference... then tried to explain to him even more clearer what i wanted to know and he said the best thing is to wait till i get the item in the post, its free delivery, and free to return it via dhl.... and get a full refund....

    well placed the order on saturday afternoon, and its still sat waiting as order in progess. nothing else as of yet... hope they honour it.
  • There are two easy ways of telling if a xbox 360 is premium or not.

    1) The hard drive bulges out of the side on the premium (on the core it is a flat blanking plate)

    2) The DVD drive tray is silver on a premium box and just plan white on the core.

    As you can see on the picture, you get ticks in both boxes, so the picture they show is def. a permium unit. Now, what turns up in the post could be a different story...... :o)

    An even easier way.... I popped into PC World. A 'full' 360 is in fact a core.

    care to explain and expand on that? looking at the prices and descriptions on the website

    it is clear it must be a premium as the core is also listed with a lower price. or are you just posting for the sake of an argument? :rotfl:

    I think you may be wrong - how come the other "FULL" systems on their website are premiums?
