Why oh why can't they change it so Dec and Jan are CT-free months?! Anyway, I am looking forward to two months of being £100 better of. This month I am going to Italy so am going to use the money for Euros, next month I'll be more sensible.Clothes challenge 2011 £254.08/£500!!!Toiletries challenge 2011 Trying!:j:T:j0

This would be a good point for everyone to work through Martin's Council Tax guide for bandings.
I went through it just to check and we are in the correct band. The beauty of it is that if you think it will rise you stay quiet, if your over paying you tell them
Basically you enter the cost of your property into a valuation website, then using Martin's instructions you value it backwards to the early 90s which is where bandings come from. Then you check the land registry for the band you qualify for. It isn't fool proof but certainly worth a check.
It is not very MSE if you don't at least check
