Mine has paid for my car MOT (it passed!) and car service next month. Was going to put off the service if the car needed work to get it through it's MOT but I can get it done now so not having to pay CT is very useful.Debt 30k in 2008.:eek::o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Is going to get put away for road tax (£180ish), The rest is going towards recieving that ever terrifying quarterly WINTER gas and ellecy bill, oh I love free council tax months :j0 -

Thanks, Was speaking to one of my friends who lives in the same city as me and has a 3 bed semi and is only £120 per month ! Will wait till I get the new bill through from them in April and compare it with hers

Yep! I'd check it out too. Mine is £81 and I'm in a 2bed semi with an attached garage and it's not ex council. Value at height of property boom was about £140k, current value probably around £100-110K.
Mine does include the 25% single occupancy rebate though.
