This site could do with a 'vehicles' board

Apologies if there already is one but I think it would be useful to have a discussion board for everything related to vehicles eg leasing, car buying and selling tips, learning to drive, servicing etc.
As there is already a board for insurance, car insurance could be discussed there.

The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.

I think this is quite a good idea, I think it would be useful for all, but especially for the ladies.
Before everyone jumps on me for being sexist........myself and several of my driving female friends have all been ripped off over car matters by garages and the like who seem to have one set of info for men and another set for women. :-/
Being more informed about all things cars can only be a good thing imo.Herman - MP for all!0 -

A vehicle board would be very intersting.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but as soon as I start to waffle on about compression, firing orders, timing , axle ratios and gearbox types I wait for eyes to glaze over and for them to shut up. With over 20 yrs in the transport biz, and longer with customising and now classics, I know a LOT. Not just IMO. I have been told this by many blokes.
If you want to know anything, just ask. If I don't know, I will find out for you."Excuse me, this expires today, will you be reducing it?"0 -
Sounds like a good idea, I am after info comparing AA to Green Flag (currently on Discussions Board) but a car-related board would be much better0
