I use youtube, but no more than the norm. Wireless is secure, I hav 2 friends staying at the moment using i phones on it - would this do it? It just seems strange to jump upto 6 times the normal usageErm is your wireless secure so know one else could be using, Are you using sites such as youtube for music. Is anyone else using internet in the house.
Thanks for quick reply0 -
I doubt that you need to look further than "I hav 2 friends staying at the moment using i phones on it" Ask them what they are downloading - probably video + a shedload of free and highly useful fart noise apps.0

Sorry mate, i'm a in the building trade - I can tell you what PVA, MDF, DPC etc stands for, but as for computers i'm stuffed.

It is passwowd protected (on base of router)
lol ok maybe i should have explained more, if you havent changed the default password then maybe someone else is using the connection, just a theory though, use the login details on the bottom of teh router to login in to the router and change the passphrase0 -
Ok, i'll try that -however, my house is like fort knox, (father in law installs alarms) - so no one exept people I know could get to see it and its such a bizaar code/password it could never be guessed - Is it easy for someone to "hack in" and find this out? (Please don't luagh, honest my computer knowledge is useless)lol ok maybe i should have explained more, if you havent changed the default password then maybe someone else is using the connection, just a theory though, use the login details on the bottom of teh router to login in to the router and change the passphrase0 -
