It won't take long for oil to start affecting a belt.
You paid £30 to join the AA and £110 for a non-member call out.
That's the price you pay for not being a member.

Leave your house uninsured, then burn it down, then ask your insurance company if you can renew your insurance cover and claim for the fire damage, I don't think you will get cover
Thats basically what you did with tha AA.
ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.

OP is a tight fisted !!!!.

You called them out as a non member so was then looking for top cover for your £142.50.

Unbelievable - too tight to be a member in the first place so saving your pennies and expecting the world when you did need the service.

I bet your wife in treated like a slave.

Your wrong, read the posts before adding your smart !!!! input. I never said I expected the AA to let me join for the going rate and then rescue me inclusively, I merely enquired if anyone could suggest a way of me getting more for my £142.50.

Oh dear another idiot who isn't reading the posts before commenting, post No. 10 explains in detail why I never had cover.

Who said I had a wife? and if I do have one, what's it to do with you?

Oh and by the way, you may like to check your spelling;)

I've been in the same situation myself. The AA wanted £150 for me to be able to join at the same time as them doing a call out. So I fixed it myself.

    It's their rules though.

I wish I had the knowledge to fix it myself but I don't know anything about cars in a mechanical way so I guess I'm stuck.

That's a bit harsh, the OP has taken the advice given in a good hearted way, no need to rub salt in to the wound.

:rotfl:one letter wrong which is obviously a mistake and you pick up on it - did you not pick up on your OWN spelling error in your 1st post ? :rotfl::T:rotfl:

I could pick on a lot more of your post but can't be arsed. :rotfl:

End of the day - what do you want for £142.50 ?

No wife ? Not surprised with you being as tight.
