and if they can do it Spud...:D
Actually watched an episode of the latest biggest loser last week (the one on in the USA now) and they were touching on the aches and pains that they get when they are exercising to extremes....
They are virtually in the medical bay every day having ice strapped to their knees and joints. Your knees will hurt by the excess weight but they put ice packs on their knees to help them.....
That's exactly what I just said Sammy. If they can do it, I can.
My knee still hurts from my fall this week. I can walk on it, but stairs standing up/sitting down etc is awful. I plan on walking lots this week, then try a ickle bitty run next week, see how it goes. I'll remember the ice tip, ta Sammy. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Lou,
I would be hurt if one of my kids said that to me. I don't think its something you have done wrong but make sure you tell him he has hurt your feelings.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Lou - it isn't you - we're having the same sort of issues with DD1.
I remember being the most sulky, huffy, self absorbed little cow-bag when I was her age so I know this is normal.........I still don't like it tho."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
when did you fall spud?
On Tuesday hun. My foot just slipped off one stair on to the next one down but the drop and the impact of all my weight on it, really jolted my knee. It was the dog's fault - was rushing down to let her out :cool:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

You fell Spud! I missed that bit...I have been a bit out of the loop this last week.
DD1 just messaged me on facebook, she is starving....since she has been running with me she has been constantly hungry. To be fair she has stopped having so many takeaways...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
