Mine are full of sleeping cats, absorbing every last ray of heat possible!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
I'm trying to keep my heating off as much as I can but am sat here with a jumper and scarf on and have my feet on a hot water bottle (I never wear socks/slippers so walking on the tiles in my kitchen is like walking on ice it is so cold!) Trouble is I have a problem with my boiler in that it 'kettles' after about 30 minutes and is very, very loud - imagine the sounds of hundreds of kettles boiling constantly. You can hear it on the street
and utterly does my head in so I have to switch it off as soon as I start to hear it swinging into action.

BB you should strap a carpet tile to each foot when walking around on the tiles

I don't have a fire
Just the central heating. I have a little fan blower in the spare room with me, I don't know how expensive they are to run though so I keep it off as much as possible.
