Kippers...now there's an idea! Normally she brings me tea toast and cereals in bed at 530, fry up at weekends. Gets a bit boring sometimes, so kippers would make a nice change.Just because you used to be you think everybody else is, don't you?0 -
Dalkirst wrote:I would say it would cost quite a bit more than 1p for butter.I make dough using ours for bread rolls and it's a tablespoon that has to be metled down.Get one of them smallish tubs which cost, what 50p and that doesn't go very far;)
My figure was based on Tesco's olive spread, which comes in at, I think, 1.40 for a kilo? OK, maybe 2-3p per measure? Would still add up to less than 30p per loaf plus leccy. And, one thing I forgot to mention, apart from the lovely taste of the bread, you also have the added bonus of that lovely baking bread smell in the house. Heaven.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -

We'll have to keep an eye out now for mispriced spread, and fillings/toppings.
Please don't mention the lovely smell of baking bread anymore - well, at least not until I have my unit!!0 -
