Kippers...now there's an idea! Normally she brings me tea toast and cereals in bed at 530, fry up at weekends. Gets a bit boring sometimes, so kippers would make a nice change.

My figure was based on Tesco's olive spread, which comes in at, I think, 1.40 for a kilo? OK, maybe 2-3p per measure? Would still add up to less than 30p per loaf plus leccy. And, one thing I forgot to mention, apart from the lovely taste of the bread, you also have the added bonus of that lovely baking bread smell in the house. Heaven.

We'll have to keep an eye out now for mispriced spread, and fillings/toppings.

Please don't mention the lovely smell of baking bread anymore - well, at least not until I have my unit!!

Breadmakers are alright for some loaves but difficult to compete with a Burgen Wholegrain & Cranberry that I bought a couple of hours ago from Asda for 13p (less 10%)
