Does anyone know how much the cartridges for the filter kettle are and where to buy them?
We have a water filter at the moment that's a Kenwood and they are easy to come by as are Brita but i've never seen Morphy Richards anywhere.Darren0 -

I've just bought one of these, as my sister recommended them. She's had one of these for years and uses it regularly. I was a bit wary of getting one myself because they look complicated to use and I'm hopeless with technology. But at this price I can afford to give it a go.
I checked out the consumer tests on breadmakers by Which magazine. They found that Morphy Richards breadmakers gave very good results and were one of the best brands. I've also checked out online reviews at www.ciao.co.uk and www.dooyoo.co.uk. Most people give this particular model a very good rating. The majority of reviews I read say it's reliable and gives good results. I've been told it does take a bit of practice and experimenting before you get perfect results, but there's nothing like the smell of fresh baking bread.
I'd like to say a big thankyou to the person who posted these special offers - I've just ordered a breadmaker, comfigrip safety iron and toaster at unbelievably cheap prices. It was pretty good timing as my Kenwood toaster has packed up after less than three years use. Most of my other appliances are Morphy Richards and I find them to be a much more reliable brand. Their kettles are very good - the ones I've had have lasted for several years.0 -
Thanks, Jools61 - just ordered one and am already looking forward to experimenting: I once purchased a pre-packed sandwich that was made using the most wonderful bread that I have ever tasted (contained various herbs). I also intend trying to make a loaf with cranberries added (currently paying 1.20 a time for that, but worth it!).If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!0
