Google Street View As A Travel Tool

..... It occurred to me today that whilst I use Street View religiously when there is coverage to check out a hotels the location, the immediate vicinity, the type of neighbourhood, parking, etc and to get a feel for a place..... I don't recall seeing it referenced on here? :)…

I always use it, yesterday it came in handy to check out our prospective hotel in Seattle, there is a little Dominos over the road, the street has few parked cars on it, and the hotel has a lot of balconies, so the chance of getting a room with a balcony is nice and high.:D

Don't know what we did without it. Wish our Tomtom had the same capability.
