I may download the full manual to see how it works as I'm not technically minded! Want to add podcasts next.
It is tiny, must get a little case for it, and thanks for the tip re radio, and the archive site which I'll use. Looking forward to using it now.
Thanks again all
Hi sunflowersuffolk
You will need to use utorrent to be able to download from radioarchive. there is info on the forum there on how to do this and before anyone asks the site is legal.
There ia another site but it is mainly American old time radio shows which host mp3s which you can normally download...........

Please, How do you do this? I pressed settings radio then radio options, and it gave
delete all presets
FM Region USA
or
FM Mode Stereo
which is it, or am I in wrong place?
sorry to be so thick!
Also I put everything in songs
how do I get them in order or do a playlist? There are items already on there, I want to see My favourites first instead of scrolling down for them.
If I go back into Media Player and alter names, move them around etc, do I then have to wipe everything from the sansa clip and re enter it all on revised basis?
thanks againRadio OptionsFrom the Settings menu, select
Radio Options.
FM Mode1. Press Select on FM Mode to toggle between Stereo or Mono.

I use RadioDownloader for BBC podcasts & rado programs www.nerdoftheherd.com/tools/radiodld/
Learnoutloud for free audio books http://learnoutloud.com
and
http://www.archive.org/details/oldtimeradio for mp3's of American old time radio shows
Another site I've not yet used is http://www.openculture.com/2006/10/audio_book_podc.html0 -
The Clip+ also has a Go list which can hold 200 of your favourite songs/audio files.
When you're playing a book/song,a long press on the centre button brings up Add to Go list. Then later you can select play Go list.
I use it for 20 or so of my current favourite songs - 200 is quite a lot, but the option is there.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

I am thinking of getting the Sansa clip for audible files too. Does anyone know what you do if you are on a long journey and the battery runs out? I have used an older San Disk MP3 and just replaced with normal AAA batteries, but this doesn't seem to have those. I am going on a long flight, so I don't want it to run out. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Just about every mp3 player nowadays has an internal rechargeable battery.
Wall adaptors that you can use to charge via USB when you're away from your PC are fairly cheap.
I get around 17 hours usage from my Clip+, though, so if I charge it in the morning it seldom runs out on me.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
