Also we must remember this is a 'Money saving' site, NOT a 'cheap as chips' site. One person may be spending 30K and another 1K both will want to get the best out of the budget!!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0

I havent noticed anything, but the worrier i am i am now sat here thinking ''oh what have I said now, is it me there all talking about, who've i upset?''
I express my opinion, i ask for and give my advice, moan, whinge and everything else. Noone has to reply or even read, i dont reply or read all the posts threads sometimes.
Sometimes i sound short or blunt, its not intended, i type fast and never re read what i have wrote with 3 kids to juggle as well as a million other things.
If i offend anyone i will apologise as it was and never is my intention.
i dont get offended by anyone unless they specifically say something to me and i know its me that its aimed at.
If someone does offend me - i just move on and ignore it and dont deal with that person again.
(runs and hides waitng for all those - you need to apologise to me PM's):TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -

Aww princesswoo don't be silly, I can't speak for everyone but I don't think i've been offended by anything you said. I think people mean more the OBVIOUS snarky, sarcastic comments and unhelpful stuff x0 -

Totally agree with this - it's not very nice when people start saying things like "How can you possibly justify spending xxx amount of money on a ring/dress/etc/etc when you could use it for your house/bills/etc etc' - if someone wants to do that surely we should help them get the most for their budget not slate their choices!0 -

There ave been many thing i have wanted and CAN afford but once looking on here i have seen peoples opinions and thought better / worse of it.
Sometimes when people post (me inparticular) i take into account the OP's question / query but i generalise it for others who may not be in the same finacial situation but who have done a search for similar advice.
My DF comes on here and 'lurks'' he wont post as he's dyslexic and people alsways take the mick (stupid spelling police) and he reads my posts, sometimes what i say also includes hints and tips for him, without me actually spelling it out so to speak.
Its always hard on a forum when people post for advice, when we dont know what their budget / taste / style, financial situation is etc is. I have budget of 7 - 8k but theoretically it could be 30k if we took out a loan and maxxed out the credit cards, which i will not do. I would love some louboutin shoes, if i posted that many on here would say go for it, im easily led and probably would, some would say thats just silly, so i wouldnt as their advice would klnock some sense into my head, some would ask if i could afford it, i can, but i cant justify £600 on a pair of shoes however nice they are. Yet someone else who cannot afford them might easily whack them on a high interest credit card because a few people said go for it and them find themselves struggling leter on.
Someone might have 1 idea and by suggesting it we offer other paths, which they may or may not have thought about. I had my wedding sorted, then i came on here and it has totally changed as i have had some much advice and inspiration. Am i bothered that my original plan has changed No way - its far better now - 2 heads are better than 1 and all that.
As for slating choices, its personal opinion. Everyone is different. My wedding shoes are the bee's knee's in my eyes, someone might say there bloody awful and gareish (although i find negaive comments are usually kept to oneself), which is fine they are not me and i am not them but thanks for your opinion.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Now that is something that really annoys me! Not seen it on here but on the other parts of MSE. There is no need for that at all and is always totally irrelevant to the topic - the spelling/grammar police obviously have nothing better to do with their time. Sad that it puts people (like your OH) off posting on the forum.
btw princesswoo - you haven't offended me either
Now I am wondering if my earlier post was harsh!0 -

If it helps, I always imagine them as little old men wearing anoraks with a notebook, tut tutting at improper grammar/spelling lol!0 -

Your post wasnt harsh i understood exactly what you meant, i can just be very over opinionated and never know when to keep my mouth shut sometimes, :rotfl:
I have very good spelling and grammer in real life, but on forums i just cant be bothered. Lifes to short, as long as i get the jist , spelling etc doesnt matter. I cant stand text message type though, im to old for it, its like another language.
I find it hilarious when 1 typo or letter int he wrong place can mean something completely different' For example a friend of mine put on facebook,
i am trying to get my uni work done but it is very hard when my P3nis is leaking all over the place, what he meant to say was im trying to get my uni work done but it is very hard when my pen is leaking all over the place.
Whats even funnier is the person telling you of for bad spelling make a typos or cant spell either.
(now wondering how many spelling and grammatical errors there was in that?):TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Lol at your friend's facebook status, thats priceless!0

is it me? have i said something wrong?
if i have i genuinely havent meant to.
im not normally a paranoid person either!
funny how weddings make your mind go silly!0
