in stores where two slips are printed off (one for the customer and one to go in the till) it would seem human error means some people accidentally receive the wrong copy. Slightly worrying, but what can be done about it other than making sure cashiers are more careful with these bits of paper, or changing systems to rely entirely on electronic records (don't see anything wrong with making that change, personally).

I have found a few places give full card details on all recepits, not just the store copy. It's very dangerous, as if you lose it, it has all someone needs to go on an online shopping spree....
