Sorry for the thread hijack, but what does it mean about for new customers?

I was a pay monthly customer with Orange till about 2005/6 from where I moved to payg with a different provider.

Do you think I will be able to go back to Orange as a 'new' pay monthly customer?

New customers usually just means signing up for a new contract and getting a new number (although you may be able to transfer an existing number).

Well I still have my Orange number I got in 1996 and I would love to bring it home, especially as the other providers don't seem to deal with it very well.

looking at it, it applies to their phone contracts above £10 a month, just not i phone contracts etc.
