Definitely a NSD, not-going-out-because-its-pouring-with-rain sort of day!

I made loads of pastry yesterday so thsi morning I made a couple of quiches and a cheese pie, will slice and freeze most of the quiche for later, and have frozen 6 lots of pastry ready to roll.

I was having trouble with my next online order from mrT, there were no option available to make any changes to it so I rang the helpline and was told that the order system (new website) may not be fixed for a week or so, meantime I had to make the changes I wanted over the phone which I did; has anyone else been having the same trouble? seems funny that I havent seen it mentioned on OS? <<insert confused shrugging smiley here!>>

rosieben - I've had it twice - the first time was just after the new site went live, and a Tuesday order locked on Sunday - CS just said to return anything I would have taken off (they ended up with about £15 worth of frozen stuff going back as I'd found it cheaper elsewhere and didn't have space for both lots). Then the week after, another Tuesday order locked at about 5.00pm on Monday - luckily it wasn't a big change I was going to make that time so I let it go.

Hopefully they'll have it sorted soon - I have another one booked for next Tuesday, so we'll see.

Picked up goodies today, some stuff missing, so came to £16.24. 2 days into February and 13% of budget gone already.

    Hi all

Spent £7.40 today on milk, grapes (sooo expensive but DS' favourite), bananas, onions, and 10 mullerlights as I think the 5 for a £ offer in Tesco is ending today.

This is one of those days when I start off thinking I only need one thing, then it's two, then three. Actually all my days are like that. Now I know why I am so rubbish at NSD's!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

I get really envious when i hear so many of you saying about all the whoopsies you find. I can only get to my local Mr T and Mr A (14 miles away) once a fortnight and i never see any. The ones in Mr T have about 50p off of an item marked originally at £2.75. I dont think thats much of a saving. And as for the only shop in my town, its Fiveways, they are just as bad. And even there BOGOFFS they advertise, you sometimes cant get. I'm sure the shop assisstants buy them all up.
Sorry, moan over. Do i sound bitter or what?

Angelfeathers, I hope you dont think i'm beeing nosy, but i noticed you have Chelmsford, Essex as where you live. I'm in Essex too. My hometown is about 14 miles from Maldon, which is the nearesr larger town to me. I was just wondering what co-op you go to, maybe i'd get some bargains there. I could make a special trip once a month to get them. Please forgive me if i'm doing something wrong or illegal asking you this.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Am very late - have had nasty sickness bug - the good news is that means NSDs!!! Also, am away for half this month, so greatly reduced amount (as a one off!) of £75 for the beemuzed household!
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!
