Got this quote

wanting to replace our g rated bax boiler as gas bills are far to high

to supply and install Worcester 24kw high efficiency a rated heat only boiler

to upgrade gas line to boiler

to flush heating system

to fit 14 trus to system

to reister boiler with gas safe

total 2144
what do you think?

    seems ok , have you thought about maybe having a higher output boiler on a 14 rad system ??is it a combi boiler

    no not a combi like for like i have a tank upstairs etc

    but after thinking about it i want a combi and think i am getting this

    would very much depend on your water pressure and flow .
    a good installer would always check this to see what size boiler is right for you .

    i have had 2 quotes and none have checked for this

    if they didn’t check how do they know it will work.

    I have been an installer for 20 years and always check every job to make sure the boiler will work.

    remember you can only get out what you put in example : if you are say getting 11 L/min at 1 bar in(current) then there would be no point fitting a boiler that gives 14L/min if you see what I mean.

    I have been to a number of jobs over the years where we have had to take the combi out and fit a traditional system back in ,because plumbers had fitted on low water pressure
