AOL contract up

Had a phone call from aol this evening. I signed up for 18month contract which is now finished. Currently paying £6.99 for unlimited broadband, free calls to local and national landlines, pay for mobile calls. Phone call to night was to renew contract and I was told to save money, have been with aol for about 10 years and all in all I am happy with their service, my question is what should I expect to pay, think present deal is ok but wouldn't mind added deal on mobile calls as DD away at uni and unless she is on internet at same time mobileis the only way to contact her.

I'm on a similar package which I think has now expired as have received 2 of these calls. Both times it was inconvenient for me to talk so I don't know what their offer was. Told their last caller to send me an email but doubt they will.

I'm happy to stay on current package but curious as to what they might be offering (other than the chance to be tied in to a new contract !).

Did they get as far as proposing a new deal for you ?

They called again today - they are offering ( limited offer) first 3 months free and then £6.99 for 18 mth contract.

I asked if it was still unlimited usage etc - i.e same as deal I'm on now and he said yes.

hi i got the same offer for 6.99 a month 18months contract first 3 months free and talk package.

But i was wondering do i pay this to BT still? As i got a letter from bt saying i moved supplier? If i cancel my AOL after this 18 months do i have to pay a reconnection fee to go back to bt?

If you have moved your line rental to AOL then you don't pay BT.
