Cannot return faulty phone

Hi, wondered if anyone can offer any advice. I upgraded my orange contract at phones4u, opting for the Sony Ericsson Satio on 10th Jan, just over two weeks into the contract, I have been experiencing a catalogue of problems with it. I have spoken to phones4u and they will only offer me a like for like replacement. Having now read reviews about the phone, I realise that it was pulled from sale before christmas, and now do not want anything to do with this phone. Phones4u are refusing to do anything other than a like for like, i.e. another SATIO!! Anyone know whether I have a leg to stand on trying to get it changed for a different make of phone????

The Satio is a very poor handset, yet another phone that SE rushed out far too quickly. If the handset has been discontinued because of faults then you CAN request a different handset. I'd recommend the Sony Ericsson w995, much more reliable with the same features! Good luck.0
