Most employers offer nmw as they know that wtc will make it up to £7.50 p/h anyway.
I know of one company who, when wtc was paid via the person's wage packet, gave everyone on wtc a paycut to bring them down to the same level of earnings as their fellow works as they thought it unfair that they should be getting more money.
The company concerned ceased trading many years ago.
