Smart Phones...which do I go for!

After much research i have settled on the HTC Touch Pro 2
I have looked at the following:
Iphone - very temping because the interface is so fast and has many apps, but i wanted a phone that would work seemlessly with windows and not fight agaist it. Also i would rather fall off a cliff then install itunes on my PC.
N900 - I wasn't impressed with the interface, the OS seemed a little clunky and no smooth at all.
Blackberry Storm 2 - limited screen res but seemed nice, but the people at Vodafone said not to touch it with a barge pole!! That it wasn't as reliable as the bold and had too many returned to Vodafone!
HTC Touch pro 2 - the interface seemed lovely and fast in my hands, WM 6.5 will connect seemlessly to my PC.0 -
BlackBerry every time.

Criticism of keyboard - that's personal preference. I really like it, coming off a Treo 680. I saw someone complain that they had to use their thumbnails to press the keys. Were they expecting to touch type or something? I'm 6'2" and have pretty big hands, and can type quickly on the keyboard. Blackberry users will think it's small at first, but then the whole device is smaller!
Battery - yes. You'll have to charge it every day. I think this is the same for any smartphone at the same usage rate. Phones do far more, and the batteries, if anything, have got smaller. I've had the Pre run out of battery a few times , which rarely happened on my Treo. Each WebOS update has been more efficient.
Development of Apps - the OS has been around for developers to poke with for nearly a year, and there are over 1,000 apps available in the official App Store, and another 1,000 unofficially. You must check the date of that article. There are big developers like EA with Need for Speed, and 1 guy at a computer writing torch apps.
I read both those reviews when they were written, and found them both positive (4/5 stars in 1st one).
Comments at the bottom - reliability - mine has been rock solid, apart from rebooting, on average, once every fortnight. I've got homebrew software running on it. All phones have a certain number of duds, especially at launch.
Hope that doesn't sound overly defensive but gives a fair view from a user.0 -
Just to mention the sammy i8910 HD - not sure why it never gets mentioned in these threads, but I have one and am generally pretty impressed...0
